Cultural Diversity And Tolerance Assemblies Near Toronto Canada

February 21, 2012 by Mark Shepard

Beyond the Borders Cultural Diversity & Tolerance Assembly at The Children’s School Waterbury CT

I’m excited to announce that in late April I’m discussing the possibility of doing  performances of my “Beyond The Borders” program near Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We are looking at the week of April 16-20.

We’re still finalizing dates so if your school or organization is interested in being added to the itinerary please contact me as soon as possible.

“Beyond the Borders: Drums, Songs & Stories Celebrating Cultural Diversity and Tolerance” begins with an old African story that I’ve turned into an Irish song that instantly involves the entire audience. From there we can make any number of stops around the world experiencing cultures from Africa, Australia, India, China, America with a final stop in Ireland/Canada/Siberia with, “The Silkie” an Irish/Scottish story that shows up in very similar form in the Inuit culture.
