I’m excited to wrap up the “pre-holiday” School Assembly “season” with my most popular multi-cultural DrumSongStory program, “Beyond The Borders” at PS 214 Cadwallader Colden School on Nov. 22, 2016. (Which BTW is my “26th” Birthday LOL).
You’d think after doing these gigs for something like a quarter of a century, I would have done SOMETHING in The “outer boroughs of NYC” but this is actually my very first school assembly in Queens NY. I always love NEW adventures.
I’m excited to have had a Fall season that took me to southern California twice, as well as Connecticut, South Carolina and Las Vegas Nevada. While most of my programs this Autumn were focused on my Bully Proof Kid and Bully Proof Teen Bullying Prevention programs, “Beyond the Borders” is just pure Folk Tales, and LOTS of my HUGE hand carved drums (which don’t fly on airplanes very well :o)
So I’ve already packed my car With my HUGE Djun-Djun and my pretty darn BIG standing drum, “Bob Junior Jr.” my Irish Bodhran, Siberian Shaman Drum, Ocean drum and guitar as well as my state of the art Bose sound systerm.
Excited to get up waaaaaay BEFORE DAWN and head out on the quiet pre-rush hour roads. Unlike most musicians I AM a morning person after all!
I’m ready to celebrate my birthday with some of the most fun, interactive drums, songs and stories that I get to do.
